Set CPU Priority to prefer foreground apps By Control Panel
Initially, login to Windows with admin user account. Show Quick Access by hitting windows key + X. Start Control Panel via Quick Access selection.
From Control Panel, You must select System and Security then System in the following display window.
System Properties will show if you simply click Advance System Properties on the left part of next display window.
Click on Advanced tab and choose Settings beneath Performance configurations.
Next display windows will be Performance options. Simply click Advanced tab and select Programs for best performance. Now simply click Ok to execute settings.
This option is actually selected by default in MS Windows.
Set CPU Priority to prefer foreground apps through Registry Editor
Enter regedit without commas in run display box (Start run window by pressing Win key + R) and press enter to view Registry Editor. Move to following registry key.
Pick Win32PrioritySeparation on right panel and modify its value. Double click on Win32PrioritySeparation registry value. To allocate CPU priority to prefer foreground apps, simply just tweak the value to 26.
Note: Whenever you customize the value to 18, CPU will give preference to background programs.
